(Bonn, 28.11.2025) The Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed Saleh, discussed with a German delegation led by Thomas Schirrmacher, President of the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), ways to strengthen cooperation in the areas of emergency, crisis and disaster response, as well as benefiting from German expertise.
During the meeting, attended by Patriarchal Auxiliary Bishop of the Syriac Orthodox Church, Joseph Bali, Saleh referred to the efforts of the ministry and civil defense to provide services to all citizens without discrimination.

For its part, the delegation expressed its appreciation for Syria’s response and development efforts, emphasizing the organization’s willingness to provide technical support and share its expertise in the context of humanitarian cooperation.
